1. Project Manager / Environmental Consultant, STELLA Consulting, Brussels

STELLA Consulting is seeking an employee to be responsible for participating in the management of environmental projects and for developing the company’s activities.

This full-time position will be based in Brussels and is to start as soon as possible.  The key tasks will include:

• Management, backstopping and possibly technical input forenvironmentalcapacity building projects; and
  
• Business development activities including writing technical and financial tender documents. 

The position may involve some limited travel and short-term missions within and outside the EU.

Desired profile:

• Experience in project management, preferably in a relevant environmental field;
• University education, ideally in environmental sciences;
• Fluency in English and French;
• Excellent writing and analytical skills;
• Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.); and
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to work both alone and as part of a team.

2. SENIOR CONSULTANT in European Acquis, STELLA Consulting

STELLA Consulting is looking for Senior Consultants with extensive expertise in the harmonisation process of the European Acquis with the local legislation for the position of International Short Term Expert for the EU funded project Ukrainian–European Policy and Legal Advice Centre (UEPLAC). The closing date of the project is June 2009.

The Consultants will be mobilised upon request of the Beneficiary.
Place of work: Kiev, Ukraine.

Profile:

• Extensive knowledge in the European Acquis and the approximation process;
• Legal background a plus;
• At least 7 years of international experience;
• Fluency in English;
• Good writing and public speaking skills; and
• Russian and/or Ukrainian language(s) is an asset.
